Tunisian Crochet: The Look of Knit with the Ease of Crochet!

Tunisian Crochet is done with a special single needle (like crochet) and creates hundreds of stitches that you’ll swear is knit, yet you never have to turn your work! In this class we will start with the very basic three stitches of Tunisian crochet: the Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS), the Tunisian Knit Stitch (TKS) and the Tunisian Purl Stitch (TPS). Once you’ve mastered these, we’ll go on to increasing (M1), decreasing (K2tog) and changing colors. By the end of the class, and with these three stitches, you’ll then be able to make any number of combination stitches and create all kinds of finished products. Cost of the class includes yarn, one Tunisian needle, written instructions and a pattern that will use all the skills you’ve just learned.

Time: 11am-12:30pm
Duration: 1½ hours
Cost: $35.00
Max people: 8
Instructor: Barb Baker
